How to make crispy parmesan potatoes?
How I make these crispy parmesan potatoes – such an easy recipe that I can’t stop making! First, I like to score the potatoes so that all the flavor can really make it’s way into the cracks and crevices (I’ve seen people boil the potatoes before they half and score them – I think this could work and make them slightly more tender). Next, in the pan that you’ll roast your potatoes in, combine the melted butter, parmesan, and spices (onion powder, paprika, etc. – also feel free to add your favorites spice mixture. I’ve used garlic powder in this recipe before and they’ve turned out delicious. Some people also like to add a little olive oil with the butter – feel free to experiment!). Stir this mixture in your baking pan until it’s almost a paste consistency. Place the potatoes on the baking pan in this paste score side down and then roast the potatoes for 25 minutes. I also like to sprinkle a little more grated parmesan cheese on top of the potatoes for that extra crisp. You’ll love these crispy parmesan roasted potatoes and one of the best parts is how they are as leftovers. I throw my leftover crispy parmesan potatoes in the air fryer for a couple minutes and they turn out amazing!
These Crispy Parmesan Crusted Potatoes would be the most delicious side dish paired with salmon and green beans. They would also make a great appetizer for game day with some ice cold beers! If you’re looking for a dip to pair with these potatoes, I’d suggest a sour cream and onion dip or a spicy ranch!
