The next flavor in my summer ice cream series is this Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip Ice Cream! This flavor turned out SO good and I can’t wait for you all to try it. The base is only 3 ingredients and I can’t say this enough – this ice cream is SO easy to make!
If you’re looking for a homemade, easy Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip ice cream recipe, I highly recommend giving this one a try!

Tips for making this Cookie Dough Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
One thing I love about this ice cream is I normally have almost everything already in my fridge/pantry! You can definitely make your own cookie dough, but I think using the premade is just as good and so convenient. I used the premade chocolate chip cookie dough from Trader Joe’s and it turned out incredible. If you want more cookie dough, all you need to do is take more from the pack. I used 1/2 cup but more could never hurt!
As always with this ice cream, I highly recommend letting it freeze overnight. The longer the better for these ice creams!

Ingredients
Method
- Line a medium sized loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Chop up your chocolate chips and roll your cookie dough into small balls. I did mine at about ⅓ inch sized balls.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sweetened, condensed milk, cookie dough, chocolate chips, and vanilla until combined.
- Mix the heavy whipping cream on medium-high speed until stiff peaks are formed. Slowly fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and let this freeze overnight. Top with extra cookie dough if desired.
