In my last recipe (Lemon Creme Brulee), I got so many requests for how to make these cute little candied lemon slices, so here it is! Not only are these such a cute garnish, but they’re also edible and delicious to snack on!
These candied lemon slices are perfect for dessert garnishes, cocktail add-ons, or anything else you can think of. I’m thinking I might have to make a lemon drop martini tonight with one of these – yum!
I love having these around to use in recipes and drinks so I make quite a few at a time, so if you feel like you need less, you can scale the recipe down. Give these a try and let me know what you think!

Ingredients
Method
- Add the water and sugar to a sauce pan. Bring this to a boil while continuously stirring.
- Slice the lemon into ¼" circular slices and add those lemon slices to your sugar water mixture. Reduce your heat to medium low. Let this simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat, remove the lemons from the pan, and let the lemons cool and harden. They usually cool pretty quickly so they should harden up soon after taking off the heat.
- Serve with your favorite dessert or drink and enjoy!
