Peanut Butter Filling
  • 1/2 cup salted butter softened at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Chocolate Ganache Topping
  • 4 tbsp salted butter
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
Peanut Butter Design
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter

Method

  1. Prepare the brownies according to the box instructions.
  2. While the brownies cool, make the peanut butter filling.
  3. Beat the butter until smooth and creamy. Add in the peanut butter and mix until combined. Add in the powdered sugar mixing on low until combined followed by the milk to smooth out the mixture. Add in the vanilla and salt and mix to combine.
  4. Top the cooled brownies with the peanut butter filling.
  5. Make the chocolate ganache by adding the butter and chocolate chips to a microwave safe bowl. Heat at 30 second increments, stirring in between until fully melted. Pour the chocolate ganache on top of the peanut butter filling spreading it in an even layer over the top.
  6. In a small bowl, melt the peanut butter and transfer to a piping bag or small ziplock bag. Snip the tip.
  7. Pipe lines vertically down your brownies. Take a toothpick and run it horizontally across the lines switching from left to right to right to left each time.
  8. Allow the brownies to chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before slicing and enjoying!
