This classic fondue will make you feel like you are eating it on top of a Switzerland mountain. It's packed full of melty cheese, garlic, and dry white wine. The perfect fondue!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup gruyere freshly grated
  • 1 cup gouda freshly grated
  • 1/2 cup emmenthal freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp cherry liqueur
  • pinch black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a pot over medium low heat, add the wine, cream, garlic, flour, mustard, and nutmeg. Stir and allow mixture to bubble. Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring until thickened.
  2. Add in the cheeses, liqueur, and pepper. Stir frequently until the cheeses are fully melted.
  3. Pour the cheese into your heated fondue pot and serve with warm bread, apples, carrots, broccoli, potatoes, chicken sausage or any dippings of your choice!
