Pan Fried Soup Dumplings

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pack Soup Dumplings I used the frozen Chicken Soup Dumplings from Trader Joe's here.
  • 1-2 tbsp Oil
  • Sesame Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Chili Oil I used the Momofuku chili oil and it was amazing!
  • ½ cup Water

Method
 

  1. On a medium high heat pan, add your cooking oil and then place your dumplings in the pan. You do not have to heat them up before hand, you can place them in straight from the freezer.
  2. Cook these until golden brown on the bottom (3-4 minutes).
  3. Once browned, add in ½ cup water and cover the pan. Let this steam for 5 minutes.
  4. After these are steamed and browned, place them in a bowl and top with your chili oil and sesame seeds! Enjoy!
