Imagine sinking your teeth into a flaky, golden-brown puff pastry shell, with each buttery layer delicately cradling a symphony of flavors. Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed according to package instructions
  • 4 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 apple
  • 4 mini brie rounds
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp water

Method
 

  1. Thaw the puff pastry according to package instructions.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into 4 equal sized rectangles
  4. Wash and slice the apple thinly.
  5. On a parchment paper lined baking sheet, drizzle each tablespoon of hot honey into 4 rectangles spread out evenly.
  6. Place each brie round in the middle of each hot honey rectangle.
  7. Arrange the apple slices on top of the brie rounds.
  8. Place the puff pastry over the tops of the apples.
  9. Beat the egg with the water and brush the tops of the puff pastry.
  10. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Drizzle with additional hot honey if desired.
