Ingredients
  

  • 12 pitted dates
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 1/4 orange juiced and zested
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 sprig rosemary finely chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Carefully slice each date open.
  3. Spoon a little goat cheese into each date.
  4. In a medium bowl mix together the orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, chopped walnuts, olive oil, cinnamon, sea salt, and chopped rosemary.
  5. Place the dates in a baking dish and carefully spoon the walnut mixture on top of each date.
  6. Bake for 5 minutes and sprinkle on more rosemary and drizzled honey if desired.
