I promise, this will be the easiest, most delicious sweet potato dish you’ll ever have and you’ll be going back to it year after year as your go to Thanksgiving side dish (or dessert!). Here’s all you’ll need:

It’s that easy! You probably have all of these ingredients in your pantry and only need to grab some sweet potatoes!

You’ll need to bake your sweet potatoes until they’re easily mashable – for me that’s about 45 minutes at 425 but do what works best for you. I like to make the brown sugar crust mixture while those are baking. This is my favorite part of this dish and it’ so easy to put together – all it is is chopped pecans, brown sugar, butter and some flour. Combine these and save it for later. Once the sweet potatoes are done, combine them with the rest of your ingredients and then top with the crust mixture.

Put this back in the oven, bake for another 30 and you’ll be having the best sweet potato casserole of your life. I love how rich and delicious this dish is and I know you will too! Also, these are incredible as leftovers. I almost like them better the day after since the flavors get to come together a little more – it’s absolutely incredible.
