It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Kitchens are warm and filled with family, friends, and spectacular food. There’s no better way to show love, than by brining the most delicious appetizer to your holiday table for everyone to share.

This Cranberry Rosemary Brie Pull Apart Pastry is filled with melty, rich brie and smothered with tart and bright cranberry sauce. Add in the piney aroma of rosemary, and you have yourself a match made in heaven!

These cranberry brie bites are the type of appetizer that everyone will love and will keep everyone’s bellies happy while they sip their festive and bubbly holiday cocktails waiting for the main event to be served.

The BEST part of this brie bite appetizer? It can be assembled ahead of time! Make it the day before and just pop it in the oven 30 minutes before you’re ready to serve.

Other Ways to serve these Cranberry Brie Bites

These brie bites are delicious and I think there could be a couple ways to spice these up! I think adding candied walnuts or pecans (any kind of candied nut really) would be an incredible addition to this dish. I have this amazing kahlua baked brie recipe that uses walnuts from my first cookbook (It’s my #1 all time favorite holiday appetizer) – you can check that out here:

Ingredients

  • 1 16oz Can Biscuits
  • 12 oz Brie
  • 1/2 cup Cranberry Sauce
  • 5 sprigs Rosemary
  • 1 tbsp Butter melted

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Open up your can of biscuits and cut each individual biscuit into fourths. Shape each fourth into a circular shape.
  3. Slice the brie into little cubes.
  4. Place 1 cube of brie into the center of one of the fourths of the biscuit dough. Wrap the dough around the brie forming a tight dough ball. Continue this step until dough and brie has run out.
  5. Spray your loaf pan.
  6. Add a layer of dough filled brie balls to the bottom of the loaf pan. Add a layer of dollops of cranberry sauce over the brie dough. Sprinkle in a few pieces of rosemary.
  7. Continue layering until the pan is almost full.
  8. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until golden brown. If the top is getting too brown, cover with foil for the last 10-15 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool. Turn over loaf pan over a serving plate revealing the final appetizer. Brush the melted butter on top and garnish with extra rosemary.
