Easy Air Fried Mediterranean Meatballs

Air Fried Mediterranean Meatballs

Turkey Meatballs are one of my favorite, easy weeknight meals that are packed with protein and this recipe has been one of my go-to’s recently! These turn out so flavorful and the texture is absolutely perfect when using the air fryer! I’ve tried pan frying, baking in the oven, and air frying and so far for me, the best way to cook these meatballs is in the air fryer!

Is air fryer diet friendly?

There are a lot of misconceptions about the air fryer, but there are no healthy concerns when it comes to the air fryer! It essentially uses the same cooking process as a normal convection oven. Using the air fryer to cook these meatballs is a great way to give them a nice crisp and cook them up quickly! You could bake up these meatballs in the oven if you want, but I love tossing them right in the air fryer basket and toasting them right up!

More details on these Easy Air Fried Mediterranean Meatballs

So many people asked about the sauce in the photo that goes with these meatballs, so here are some details on that! it’s a simple homemade tzatziki with greek yogrut, a little bit of cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice and topped with some dill! People also asked if they could use breadcrumbs in this recipe and I think that would work! Another common question was if you could sub other types of meat and the answer to that is of course! I’ve tried this recipe with both ground beef and ground chicken and both are incredible choices!

I love serving these in hearty bowls with hummus, tzatziki, rice, and some fresh veggies. They’re also great as a sub for normal meatballs if you want to try them out that way. Give them a try and let me know what you think!
